Binturong je mali sisar sa juga Azije .Nalazi se na crvenoj listi . Ovaj mali sisar ima drugo veoma interesantno ime mačeći medved, a nije rodjak ni medi ni maci.Visoke šume su dom ove životinje. Mogu se takodje videti i u ZOO vrtu na Tajlandu , nacionalnom parku
Žive u parovima , i dele ulogu roditelja . Polna zrelost je oko2.5 godine života , trudnoća traje oko90. dana ,mogu biti teški do 14. kg a životni vek je oko 20. god.
Vole banane, kajsije i višnje.
