Merkat je stanovnik polupistinje Kalahari koja se nalazi na jugu afrike.
Mali sisar koji mora svakog dana loviti jer nema masne naslage.
Merkat živi u kolonijama , koju predvodi alfa par koji i jedino može da ima mlade. 
.Sa godinu dana su polno zerli , mama nosi mlade 11. nedelja . 
Najčešće u gnjezdu ima 4. mala merkata . Veoma su složni .

Merkat is a resident of the half-sister Kalahari, located in the south of Africa.

A small mammal who has to catch every day because there is no fatty deposits.

Merkat lives in colonies, led by an alpha couple who can only have young people.

. For a year they are full of zeros, mom wears young 11 weeks.

Most often in the nest there are 4 small mercat. They are very complex.
