To isto mladunce izlazi iz tobre kad malo poraste i vraca se u nju , jer tako se oseca sigurnim , sve do onog trenitka kad je dovoljno poraslo . mladunce ostaje uz mjku  do18. meseci  . Mama kengur je polno zrela posle dve godine , i vreme parenja je tokom cele godine . zivotni vek valabija je 12. god.

Južnoamerički noj je težak od15-25. kg .
