Ružičasti viinski oklopnik je veoma ugrožen avrsta i živi samo na teritoriji Argentine , ime je dobio po ružicastom oklopu .

 Dugacak je samo 10. cm . 

Hrani se crvima , mravima i insektima . 

Danju se krije u rupama koje kopa dok nocu trazi hranu , kad oseti opasnost samo za nekoliko sekundi se ukopa u zemlju .
